When Mike Fabricius designed and launched the exclusive clic furniture series, he said the following: ”Most sound systems are created for your ears and not for your eyes. The manufacturers who cater to the eye have unfortunately often overlooked your ear.
clic was born from the idea of creating luxurious, high-quality furniture that conceals where it should and presents sound beautifully and elegantly” Unnu grew out of the clic furniture series.
The idea behind unnu was to create another furniture series with many of the features of clic, but at a different price point and with its own design and expression.
Designed for everyday life
Mike designed the first unnu furniture in 2009, and in 2010 the unnu furniture was ready for sale.
We launched a relatively small series with only 3 models. Since then, unnu has grown with more depths, models and features.
The furniture was to have many visible and concealed features, like the clic series, so that each customer could decide what should be visible in their home.
Every detail of the design and features has been considered.
Nothing has been left to chance.
The furniture was to accommodate sound systems, speakers, cables, software, subwoofers, game consoles and anything else that needed to be concealed – so that sound and design can dominate the room.
Quality
unnu furniture is designed by Mike Fabricius and handmade in Denmark.
The furniture is made from 16 mm lacquered MDF, and each compartment in an unnu cabinet is reinforced with 4 specially designed metal angles at the back of the cabinet.
This construction gives unnu furniture great strength and load-bearing capacity.
All our products are sourced and produced in Denmark, and we take pride in being a Danish manufacturing company.
